DESCRIPTION:This hands-on comprehensive workshop will help you understand how accounting software can save you vital time and effort in organizing your business finances. Participants will learn how to set up a chart of accounts\, pay bills\, invoice customers\, reconcile bank accounts\, review the financial reports available and more. Accurate bookkeeping is essential to producing timely financial statements that reflect your company’s financial strengths\, thus facilitating the success of your business. A basic understanding QuickBooks Desktop is a prerequisite to this very exciting course. Attendees will enter information on provided laptops using practice sets and have the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance. \nLunch and handouts will be provided. \nMJ Brienen\, Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor\, is a seasoned professional focused on helping businesses in many stages of development to set-up\, maintain\, or fix their QuickBooks systems.  She works to help uncover the secrets to QuickBooks® and how the program can be used most effectively by businesses.  Brienen has a background in banking\, sales\, project management\, and working with websites. \nThis workshop is provided by REI Women’s Business Center. \nFunded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
