SUMMARY:Financial Focus: Preparing to Fund Your Business
DESCRIPTION:Understanding your business idea inside and out is one factor when starting a business. Another is if financing will be necessary to start or continue to grow your business. This workshop will go into the details of the 5 C’s of Credit\, understanding financial statements\, knowing general information a lender will look for\, and what a good business loan application looks like. Lunch will be provided for those in-person. There is also a virtual Zoom option available. As Loan Officer with REI Oklahoma\, she helps small business owners navigate through a variety of business lending resources and programs to aid in finding the best options for their funding needs. Misty helps facilitate REI Business Lending’s internal lending programs as well as collaborates closely with local lenders to further assist businesses of all sizes in gaining access to the needed capital to grow and prosper in their communities. Misty lives in Durant with her two daughters and enjoys spending time with her family and fur babies\, reading\, and spending time outdoors. \nFunded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
