SUMMARY:How to maintain your credit for both business and personal...IDRS Acorn Project webinar this Friday
DESCRIPTION:This Native American Heritage Month\, we continue our celebration of all in Indian Country with the entrepreneurial spirit whether that be small business owners\, artists\, farmers\, ranchers\, of even those being entrepreneurial in the home. \nThis week we’re also participating in Global Entrepreneurship Week and recognizing that Native entrepreneurs join Indigenous entrepreneurs all around the world in being a valuable part of the global entrepreneurial ecosystem. Check out our Facebook or Instagram pages as we highlight just a few of the awesome entrepreneurs and Tribes that we serve. \nTomorrow\, we’ll learn all about credit. How do you get it and how do you keep it? What’s a good score and how is it calculated? Eddie Torres is back and will make sure you’re prepared whether you’re going for a loan\, applying for a credit card\, or just operating your business and you want to make sure you’re ok\, just in case. Please join us! \nDetails about this workshop plus details on how to register are below. As always\, IDRS workshops are totally free of charge. We hope you are able to make it! \nAnd\, if you know of another Native artist or entrepreneur who our programs would benefit\, please share this email with them. \n\nCredit Management: Learn the Five C’s of Credit and How Scores are Calculated – \nFriday\, November 17th\, 2023\n12 pm (noon) Pacific; 1 pm Mountain;\n2 pm Central; 3 pm Eastern\n1 1/2 hour session \nShortlink to registration: ntv.bz/money \n \nThe five Cs of credit are important because lenders use these factors to determine whether to approve you for a financial product. Lenders also use these five Cs—character\, capacity\, capital\, collateral\, and conditions—to set your loan rates and loan terms. FICO Scores are calculated using many different pieces of credit data in your credit report. This data is grouped into five categories: payment history (35%)\, amounts owed (30%)\, length of credit history (15%)\, new credit (10%) and credit mix (10%). \nThis is the second in a four part finance series. When you register for this webinar\, you will automatically be registered for all of the other webinars and will have the option to attend any or all of the sessions. \nFor the recording of Webinar #1\, The Purpose of Budgeting and Saving\, please visit: ntv.bz/money_rec_1 \n  \nFor more information about the IDRS Acorn Project or to get help for your business at no cost\, please contact us at: \nOur Team Help email: help@idrsinc.org\nPhone: 916-482-5800\nWebsite: www.nativebiz.org\nFacebook: www.facebook.com/idrsacornproject\nInstagram: www.instagram.com/idrs_acorn_project \nAbout IDRS Acorn Project: \nThe IDRS Acorn Project is a program of Indian Dispute Resolution Services\, Inc.
