She also spent time as a communications coordinator for the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.\n\nPatricia has also taught mass communications at Miami Dade College. She was a member of the WLRN Community Advisory Board and served as chair of the City of Miami Community Relations Board\, a volunteer group that works to foster mutual understanding\, tolerance\, and respect among the city’s diverse populations. She gives DIY PR workshops for SCORE chapters in Broward and Palm Beach counties\, as well as help with their PR and social media strategies.
