SUMMARY:Comprehensive QuickBooks Desktop
DESCRIPTION:Quickbooks software is ideal for small businesses that manage their own accounting and other business transactions.  Participants in this intensive\, hands-on training will learn how Quickbooks can streamline their processes and benefit their business.  Quickbooks Pro 2018 Desktop version is used for this training.  Topics to be covered include:  examining chart of accounts; writing checks and recording deposits; reconciling bank statements; entering and paying bills; invoicing customers and receiving Payments; creating basic financial statements and balance sheets; tracking sales tax; entering and receiving credit card charges; utilizing sub-accounts.  Attendees will enter information on provided laptops using practice sets and have the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance. \nMJ Brienen\, Certifed QuickBooks Pro Advisor\nMJ Brienen is a seasoned professional focused on helping businesses in many stages of development to set-up\, maintain\, or fix their QuickBooks systems.  She works to help uncover the secrets to QuickBooks® and how the program can be used most effectively by businesses.  Brienen has a background in banking\, sales\, project management\, and working with websites. \nSpace is limited\, register early. \nPartners: Southwest Technology Center and REI Women’s Business Center. \nYou will be redirected to PayPal to pay for registration. Fee is non-refundable. If you cannot attend\, your registration may be able to be transferred to another workshop. \nFunded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.
