DESCRIPTION:The GrowOK program is designed to explore the product/market fit of a new business concept. Each program includes an intensive one-day workshop\, with outside activities to be completed by the participating company/entrepreneur. Additionally\, companies can opt-in to participate in weekly one-on-one meetings to receive individual feedback and direction for their business. During the GrowOK program participants will evaluate: \n\nCustomer segments\nProduct/market fit\nRisks and competition\nInitial paths to market\nHow to reach potential customers\nImplementing customer feedback\nSetting metrics for success\nIntroduction to startup capital\n\nFollowing completion of the workshop\, calls\, and outside diligence\, each company receives a recommendation report with next steps for their venture. \nThe goal of the GrowOK program is to increase the number of businesses that create jobs in rural Oklahoma. The project is funded with a grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration with matching funds from Oklahoma’s four largest Native American tribes\, the Oklahoma Business Roundtable\, and the Oklahoma Center for Advancement of Science and Technology.
