Sharon K. Harvey is Lead Outreach and Marketing Specialist at the SBA Indiana District Office, which she joined in 2008 as Public Information Officer. She moved into an Economic Development Specialist role in 2014 and brings hands-on disaster response experience, having served on disaster teams during Hurricane Gustav in Galveston, TX (2008) and Hurricanes Irma and Maria in St. Croix, VI (2017). She spent three years at the SBA North Carolina District Office in Asheville before returning to Indiana in 2022.

Before joining the SBA, Harvey spent 20 years in marketing management, with expertise in non-traditional sales and media buying. Her career includes positions at WTHR, WXIN, WTTV, Radio One, Dorna/ANC Sports Marketing, and Promotus Advertising.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Radio & Television with a double major in Journalism from Butler University.
