Want to start your own business? The Francis Tuttle Launch Pad, REI Women’s Business Center, OK Small Business Development Center and SCORE are offering this workshop to help you decide if starting a business is right for you and, if so, how to go about it. Existing small business owners could benefit from several of the topics in this workshop as well.
Topics include what questions to ask before starting a business, how to analyze and decide which business structure to use, how to register the business in Oklahoma, how to develop a simple but meaningful business plan, how to understand basic business financials and finally, where to find financing. Additionally, available federal, state and local resources to assist you will be discussed.
