If you’re interested in selling supplies or services to federal agencies and think you might qualify as a small disadvantaged business, this session is for you. The federal government’s goal is to award at least five percent of all federal contracting dollars to small disadvantaged businesses each year as part of the SBA’s 8(a) Business Development Program. Joining the 8(a) program makes your business eligible to compete for the program’s set-aside contracts and helps provide a level playing field for small businesses owned by socially and economically disadvantaged people or entities.
